		Love SewingPincushion Cut 4 pieces of fabric 5” square and 2 pieces 3” square. Trace each pattern onto individual 5” squares using a washable pen or mechanical pencil. (Tape pattern and fabric to a window or use a light box.) Use a 4" embroidery hoop and DMC floss. Use two strands of floss on all stitching. Adjust color of floss if needed. DS – daisy stitch FK – french knot BS – back stitch Friendship: DS Flower – 712 white FK Center – 3822 yellow BS Stem – 3363 green BS Words – 844 gray Love: BS Rose – 815 red DS Leaves – 3363 green BS Letters – 844 gray Laughter: FK Buds – 815 red BS Stems – 3363 green DS Leaves – 3363 gr. BS Words – 844 gray Sewing: DS Flowers – 712 white FK Centers – 3822 yellow BS Words - 844 gray Trim stitches to 3” squares. Sew together in a row as shown using ¼“ seams. Attach ends together to form a tube. Sew additional 3” squares to top and bottom to form a box. Be sure to leave an opening on the bottom piece to turn and add filling for pincushion. Add embellishments as desired along seam lines and top.
